The Bosch JS470EB Barrel-Grip Jig Saw features a powerful motor and sophisticated electronic circuitry. Installers, carpenters and cabinet makers will appreciate its 7.0-amp muscle. It comes with a counterbalancing mechanism for low vibration. The barrel-grip jig saw has a variable-speed dial that sets the operating speed. The saw also has a large die-cast aluminum footplate with no-mar plastic overshoe, a dust blower for max cut-line visibility and a toolless blade-change system.

The motor delivers no-load ranges from 500 up to 3,100 strokes per minute – with a stroke length of 1 In. The tool has the cutting capability in wood up to 5-7/8 In. and up to 7/8 In. in aluminum.
Durable and comfortable – This tool features an aluminum gearbox with an insulated cover. It also has a large die-cast aluminum footplate that includes a steel insert and on-board bevel wrench, for bevel cuts to 45°. It has an ergonomic body with an upfront soft-grip handle for comfort. The saw’s plunger mechanism is designed for low-vibration.
